Your Wife
7 June, 2000

As time goes by I wonder why
Why did you take your love from me?
Why did you give it to another?
I was your wife and I'm your children's mother

I'm trying to understand
Why you took another woman into your hand?
I know things weren't the best at times
But that doesn't make up for your crime

You just up and smashed my heart
Our family you tore apart
Maybe one day you'll understand
The path you chose wasn't as grand

But the life you had will not be here
I will have cried my last tear.
