You'll Never Know

I thought it was over
We said our good-bye's
But for some reason I still see your face
Feel the warmth of your embrace

I can still feel your kiss
Upon my lips
I can feel your hand wrapped around mine
Like those moments were suspended in time

When we first met it was like you were sent from above
To show me the true meaning of love
To give me all you could give
You gave me a reason to live

But then one day
You walked away
You said you needed a change of pace
I had to turn so you couldn't see the tears on my face

My heart broke in two
I didn't know what I was going to do
I was losing the love of my life
I felt like cutting my wrist with a knife

Then I stopped to think
I dropped the knife into the sink
I can't take my life
I want to have kids and be a wife

He might of left me
But I guess we weren't meant to be
He will always hold a place dear in my heart
Even though we had to part

I miss him now
I'll miss him so
But only in my heart
so he'll never know..
