its the first time ive felt this lonely
since you went away
i spend my days missing you
from the very first day
why'd you have to leave
so suddenly like that?
i need you here with me
i want to get you back
if god did exist
you would still be here
helping me through my problems
and helping face my fear
i cant believe youre gone now
i'll never see you again
i miss you so bad it hurts
my lifes gone down the drain
ask god for an angel
and send it down to me
to replace you while we're worlds apart
but not for long, you'll see
in time i'll walk along this path
that once belonged to you
you'll be there as usual
to guide me through and through

Although the poems sad it still put a smile on my face it gives me comfort to know that there are people like you out there that can put emotions to paper
