A Silent Heart

She sits and wonders
of which path she might take.
Should it be that one with him?
Could it lead her to fate?

How would she know
of which one it might be?
Her heart sits heavy and
aches to be free.

She looks towards the moon
and wishes on a star.
"Give me one second"
"to see that far."
