Scars

His cheeks soaked with tears
as he sadly grins at me.
Losing his mind
in a fantasy dream.
Inside his heart's breaking
from passion to pain.
Of his hopes flying high
then falling in the rain.
His hate starts to show
his grin disappears.
Blood covers his arms
from trying to cut out his fears.
Pain comes and pain goes
but the scars still remained.
The memories whisper in my ear
of what he used to say.
Hearts soar and hearts fly
and love fades away.
Everything you hold right now
will leave you one day
