Good-bye

I can't be with you,
I don't want you to see my pain.
Don't want to make you think I'm living,
when I long ago was slain.

My eyes, they say it all,
they give it all away.
That although I say tomorrow,
I cannot survive today.

Your laughter cuts right through me,
for I can't stand to smile.
I hold on to the evil,
although I say it's vile.

Please don't try to save me,
for I don't want to live.
Without my best friend here with me,
my knees they finally give!

You are so gifted.

Kristy, are you still with us? I haven't seen anything from you recently. Please respond to this comment and ease my mind. You are so gifted. I would hate to see such talent lost.
