What's The Point?

What's the point in loving,
when they leave you in the end?
What's the point in living,
if it's all pretend?
What's the point in saying forever,
when your gonna break me heart?
What's the point in being together,
when we'll be torn apart?
What's the point in trying,
if in the end I fail?
What's the point in smiling,
when sadness will prevail?

You are very good at putting what you are feeling to paper.

First, let me say, you are very good at putting what you are feeling to paper Kristy. I've been told I am as well. On this subject, I choose to create a parable for you.

Two rabbits are trapped in a pen, one say to the other "We have to escape before the farmer puts us in the stew." So they begin looking for a way out. One rabbit finds an area where the fence is lower and begins trying to jump over it. Time after time he tries and time after time he fails. eventually he gives up trying, accepts his fate and waits for the farmer to come and put him in the stew. Meanwhile, the other rabbit, having watched his fellow prisoner fail in his attempt to jump over the fence, digs a hole and crawls under it.

We can be like the first rabbit and give up when our efforts fail, or like the second and try other ways until we achieve our goals. Kristy, which are you, the first or the second rabbit?

Well in a way I'm like the 2nd rabbit because I'm still here and haven't quite givin up on life. However, I'm also like the first b/c I decided to quit on love I have never cheated on a bf before and since michael died when we were still together in a way i fell as tho I'm cheating on him if I am with anyone else. I don't exactly know what to do bout that but right now I guess the pain is still so new that I'm still expecting him to show up at my house at 7:00 right on time like always. So I guess I'm both...

Before you concider that option Ryan, read my poem "Suicide" which will post in the next week or so. It may give you something to think about before you make that choice.

Yeah I know how you feel... I cut too. For some reason it just feels good you know? Like all your anger just flows out with the blood. I think that cutting is more addicting than drugs cause once you start it's hell to stop. Especially when things just seem to be gettin worse. But hang in there!! :)
