Emotionally we are frightened and sad too.

Nobody should have to live in fear,
We should be thanbk-ful that we live here.

You deserve our praise for your courage,
And our gratefulness for your patriotage.

I agree Barb. We are all grateful to the soldiers for their tremendous courage right now. Our thoughts are with them and their families.

I hope they realize what they are doing most of us appreciate them and this was to let them know they aren't risking their life for nothing. no matter what some think. thanks again

I just want to say thank you for this poem!! My brother is currently fighting in Afghanistan and cannot even make it for my graduation!! This poem is a comfort to me!!! Thank you soo much for understanding how I feel!!!

i agree

This poem is really helpful to me. My big brother is in iraq right now and i havent seen him in like a year. I really miss him but i'm thankful that he is fighitng for our freedom !!!!
