Neighbor - Edith

Family and a close friend are the only ones you tell about your life.
Not letting to many know about what you went through all your strife.
I let my neighbor read my book, description of the author.
What I thought was nothing and to me it doesn't bother.

Treated me like her daughter, a nice warm mother type
the type I wish I had.
Sometimes what you go through, others see as sad.

But I see as experiences and building character.
Now that it is over..

Your experiences have made you strong Barb. Others are probably amazed by this strength as they have not been though this.

Learning as we go...,

Barbara,

I like your attitude. Sometimes its a long, bumpy road, but you said it very well. Inner strength gained from bumpy roads can make us stronger and wiser.

Too bad it can't always be flat, black top, but, I suppose if things were always that smooth, we would miss out on the, "learning Curve?" I enjoyed reading this poem.

Thank You
MartinV
