There's beauty in the way you sleep
-The soft sound of your breathing
The dance of your chest moving up and down
I can imagine the view of your heart beating

You turn your head as if to look at me
And though your eyes are closed I can still see their beauty
I'm looking into them
The closed eyes, that when open, also look at me

The curves of your body under the satin sheets
Your body has such a perfect shape
I run my hand along your figure with a soft touch
Hoping you don't wake

I see your smile that you unknowingly so beautifully smile
I wonder what you're dreaming about
Just imagining a dream beautiful enough to make you smile makes me smile
And at the same time, amazingly, we each let a sigh out

I run my fingers along your jawbone and chin
Then play a little with your hair
I love watching you sleep...I love you
And I love the love we share

Can't figure why this guy is asleep,with all that love "prowling around." Oh, and do you have long finger nails? How can this guy sleep?

Not making fun of your poem, I felt it, as I think, many of us did, in a loving way, of course. I call this a very, "Authentic" poem, very real.
