Too Much To Ask
19 February, 2003

Was it too much to ask
When I just asked for the truth?
When I asked about your feelings
Why couldn’t your words be true?

Was it too much to ask for honesty
When your words were spoken?
Thank God I didn’t let myself fall
I just would’ve been broken

I saw it all coming, I’m not stupid
Why do you think I didn’t call?
Thank God instead of running to you
I walked to you slowly-almost a crawl

I’m assuming it was too much to ask
After all, you had so much on your mind
And no need to worry, which you’re probably not
-I’ll be just fine

get mad at that person that didn't show their true feelings. You did nothing wrong, they did they made you frustrated and angry. That's how I handle things is I get angry if the person chits on me Hhaaaa good writing keep it up

Your piece is so good, i can relate on the situation. I ask my tart but never found a word to know how we'll gonna be after the storm.
