A Poem To Smile by LinzAy

This here is a poem to myself to remind me to
smile
To encouarge me to stay who I am
But at the same time grow into who I want to be
To let myself know I'm beautiful
Despite those "ugly days" that make me feel
otherwise
To remind me that my friends and family love
me
And that they don't take to heart the mistakes I
make

This here is a poem to myself to remind me to
smile
To tell me I'm perfect in my own little ways
~Even my imperfections have meaning
To touch that part of me when I need it
That makes me show my beautiful smile
To remind me I'm that certain person
That happened to brighten somebody's day

This here is a poem to myself to remind me to
smile
And to, once again, tell me I'm beautiful inside
and out
Which is something I could use being told once
in a while
To encourage me to do the best I can
Towork for what I want because I know it won't
be handed to me
To lift my spirits when I'm sad
And to make me happy when I'm mad

To remind you that....
You're beautiful and loved by all
And you've made my day just by simply doing
the best you can
To remind you it sucks being sad and there's no
point in staying mad

i love the poem. a guide to good self esteem. ^.^ also kinda reminded me of taproot their line in the chorus "this poem is a, sung to myself, helps me to live." ^.^
