Your smile is loving, real sweet, and bright.
Everything about you is what I crave.
I want to tell you my feelings tonight.
I would say a lot, if I could be brave.

Your eyes sparkle like the stars in the skies.
Your skin is smooth like petals of a rose.
I fell in love with one look in your eyes.
I love being with you, and having you close.

If I had the courage, all this I’d say.
Past experiences have put me to shame.
My previous rejections made me this way,
I know I only have myself to blame.

The time has come to put my fear away,
and tell you what I’d been longing to say.
