We started off just as friends
Then all of our secrets came out
Turned out we had a lot in common
Thought our good friendship had no doubt.

We talked on the phone each and every night
About our problems and our fears,
I really needed a friend to lean on,
One to dry my tears.

My life has never been the same without you,
Oh wonderful friend of mine.
I'll always love you with all my heart,
Right till the end of time.

You've always been the world to me,
Even through every fight.
I think about you all the time...
It helps me get to sleep at night.

So by this I'm saying you're the love of my life,
I don't know what I'd ever do without you
I want you to know you can come to me
When you are in a tough situation or feeling blue...

I'll always be there
