Killing Their Own

They can't see
Through the smoke screen
What do I see
I see a dream

A nightmare to you
But a dream to me
A dream of desruction
What the world should be

They dont understand me
And they never will
They don't stop to think
Don't know their words kill

So the only friend I have
Is the cut of the blade
Their words destroy the monster
That their own hatred made

smoke screen

A wonderful poem I say. May the smoke clear, with no more cutting of the blade.

Thank you Maddy

^_^

To me there is no such thing as dark poetry, there are dark poems, but poetry is just feelings made into words. Anyways I really like your work.
