The Perfect Christmas Cards
We are all so busy, the end of the year, is coming near
Time to think about, buying those Christmas Cards
Sorry to say, this season, can make things really, hard
Yet, when you, have loved ones, you got to use your heart
You have that business trip, & my new business, is picking up
So, which one of us, will shop for Christmas cards, this year?
Guess, its up to me, you ask that I try & find, something special
To say, that I love you, and share the Christmas cheer
You called me from your business trip, apologized,
For having to leave me home, alone…,
Then you asked, did I find, those special Christmas Cards
I said, that I’d tried, think its best to wait, til you get home
Its great to have you home again, then we went shopping,
Been a long time, since we, did something, together
Here we are both looking, for those special, Christmas Cards
Its amazing when you love someone, how things, just seem to happen
We were searching for our Christmas cards, well, then, you & I,
We found them together, almost like a dream
The snow was softly, floating down,
We, were alone, it seemed…,
Just walking round, checking out, the shopping malls
Then this man, in strange clothing, like sheets, as white
As the snow, long golden hair, like yours and eyes as blue,
“As I feel, when, I’m not with you,” he just appeared
He addressed us, as his “children,” can you believe?
Then, with a voice as soft as yours, he said…,
I understand, the two of you, are looking for some
Form of Christmas expression, say, Christmas cards?
With that he shows us, a deck of playing cards
Then, he looks at me and says, my son, you have
Chosen, the Queen Of Hearts, then looks at you
No need for my suggestion, for you have
Already, picked out the King Of Hearts
Then, suddenly, this man was gone
And you and I, we felt such warmth
People, they began to gather round
I heard some lady say…,
Isn’t that just beautiful, the way he holds her close
And kisses her, as she kisses him, then on her way she goes
Mumbling something about the snow and, having to find some…,

I know that Christmas is time for all of us, so take the time to slow down, stop and smell a rose, if you can't find a rose, then just take a breath of life.
Merry Christmas to All
