Oh, It Feels So, Good

To stretch out my arms, legs and breath
Touched, by the last, of the Summer’s breeze
I can look upon the valley, as if, I were a King
With soft caresses, the summer, says farewell

What was green, is now turning gold
Yet, I do not feel, winter’s cold
I thank you lord, for giving me
The treasure of this moment, here a lone, but free

If, it be your will, that you end my presence here
I want you to know, life has been a thrill…,
Thank you lord for loving me and thank you lord
For loving me enough, to let me, rest upon this hill

Oh, It Feels SO Good.

touching poem....Martin

this was sooo sweet & touching...i just love your poetry Martin...you always win me over, by allowing me to enter your soul an experience what you felt for that precise moment with each movement of your pen...you express yourself so well...thank you for the quantum leap...

We all to have a hill of our own and visit it.

Terrie

Thank you, sometimes my pen has been known to leap right off the page and leave the reader wondering, what is this about.

Thanks Terrie,
Martin
