The Morning Dove
Coo, Coo, I’ve heard her voice in the morning,
Now, I’m asking, haven’t you?
The poets’ pen, like the morning Dove,
lines the nest with love.
Sheltering it’s unborn, from the storms,
she knows, will come.
If, god and pen are true,
then these words, will be born,
With tiny wings, strong and true,
My poetic vision, will reach you.
I ask you now, have you heard, her voice
in the early morn?
Saying to her world, I ‘m in love with you.
From butterflies, to dragon flies, all, have words to say
listen to their words on wings, before, they fly away…,
It is my poet’s heart, that you see, fly away,
I truly wish that you had heard,
What their tiny wings,
Had to say

I have always found it to be such an eye-opener when we see so much beauty in something so common to us all. I know, many of us just need to take time, and see all the simple beauty, that is all around us, all the time.
Thank you, thank you Very Much!
