I Wonder If You See My Face

I wrap my love around you, when you and I can find the time
I see you at odd hours, and we share what we can,
Then, you have to leave me, the time is getting late,
You don’t know how it kills me, when you go back home to him.

I know they say this love of ours, will never find a place
Already committed, and destined by our fate
I wonder when you leave me, do you still see my face…,
Am I just a breath of fresh air, from a stagnant way of life

You don’t know how it hurt’s me, when you go back home to him
Yet, in my heart I understand, and I try to be the man
That held you in his heart of hearts, before our time was up again
If, my heart were a mirror, I’d never see my self…, but only you

You don’t know how it hurts me, when you go back home to him
You cry each time you leave me, and I hold you in my arms,
How much longer, can this go on, how much longer, I ask myself

Until the winds cease to be, until the rain never falls,
Until the sun, can cast no shadow, until the dew never falls
That is how long, I will love you, yet I wonder if, you see my face
If you see my face, when your back…, home with him, again.

Thanks,

LinzAy & Texas, thanks for the comments. I have been pretty busy the last few months, trying to find time to write more. Hard to find the time, you know how that goes.
