The Poet
12 January, 2003

vinebar

A harvester of feelings, thoughts and dreams,
taking their nourishment from our joy and pain.

Their words have emotion that open our eyes,
with pens made from rainbows, they color our lives.

Using a language known by few,
their pen is perceptive, sometimes cruel.

But never dishonest, usually, too honest.
They can strip our hearts naked, or clothe us in gold.

Where do they come from and where do they go,
these people called poets, who can see through our soles

We don't have to go far to view ghosts who are living in human's bodies. It is easy to look right through them. Love it!

Dear Martin, you asked me for my phone number, but would you settle for my email address? I can be contacted at (.snip: no mail addresses allowed) Write me. I used to talk to a lot of poets in a poet's circle, and made a lot of lasting friendships.
