Our House

As I sit here 4 in the morning with this candle a burning.
I watch how it dances across the room
My heart is trying to tell me something
I will find soon.

The breeze is bringing the smell of rain through our window.
As the flow of our curtains gathers with the shadows of the candle
They become one with their dance.

We have given this house a touch of love with our sweat and blood
Not a lot of money or fancy things to speak of.
Just two people that are in love.

....

This is a great poem. No house is too small where there is love.............

Marty...

beautifully written...materialistic things do not make a house a home....the love you put into it, is far more important than expensive things...you did a great job transforming the love that built your home into this poem to share with us..we feel it's warmth.....have a blessed day & Happy Holidays...Terrie*

They are now one!

You and I know what this means, Marty. I see how you used it. That is fine with me. Don't worry, I am not mad. I think it is beautiful. Write me about it,ok?
