A Promise

We've grown closer in so many ways near,
We've shared emotions happy and sad,
We've always pulled through just us two,
You talked I listened, I talked you were there,
A hug needed you never had to ask,
A hug returned made everything right,
Shared our friendship; shared our souls too,
When we're apart I miss you're smile,
Never thought I'd talk about us together forever,
In this world we together live,
You're love shines so bright,
You're love shines so right,
All the lessons in life; together we will learn,
You have always been beautiful in my eyes,
Over time you're beauty only grows more,
I will be here to hold you in my arms,
Keep you safe from harm,
Keep you smiling bright,
Together we will smile everyday,
Now I hope you'll take this gift,
To show others the love I hold for us

A Promise is A Promise

Hey Clive!! I want to congratulate you! You have "the gift of love"! I'm happy for you----that you found someone who shares the same charismatic personality as you, a person who has everything in common, like you do! And you know what else is great about.......Neither of you need to be reminded of giving each other a hug, or letting each other know that you love them. You show it and say it, just by reading your poem, I picked all that up from you!!
WAY TO GO CLIVE!!!

P.S. I hope you have another poem submitted soon!! (SMILE) And......Thank you for your thoughtful and understanding comment!

None other than,

Meridian
