The Feeling Of Heartbreak

Heartbreak.
It pierces like the screams of a thousand men in the fiery depths of hell.
A never-ending pain deep inside your heart.
It rips at you, tearing at you.
Painful.
It hurts more and more every day.
You think about it all the time.
It comsumes every inch of your thoughts.
Every minute of the rest of your life is dedicated to the painful memories
of when you were truly in love.
But you've heard it before, nothing lasts forever.
But you wish it could.
Each night you prayed that it would never end.
Because you are in love.
You want to be with them every moment you can.
You want to hear their voice, touch their face,
hear the gentle beat of their heart.
But they don't feel the same way.
And you don't realize it until it's too late.
You did everything you could in hopes that they would feel
the passion for you like you do for them.
But that wasn't enough.
You couldn't tell their heart to love you.
But you wish you could.
It's too late now.
All you feel is heartbreak.
