To Feel Needed

Love. It pierces like a thousand needles. Deeper, deeper, deeper. Then it gets ripped out. Heartbreak. It always ends the same way. Everyone says nothing lasts forever. And they were right. We put ourselves through all this pain. And for what? To feel needed. To feel needed by someone who only cares how you look and how "good" you are. To feel needed by someone you share a passionate night with, and then they leave you lying in bed after they got what they wanted. What they desired. What their bodies longed for. They tell you how much they love and care for you. Then you caught up in the moment. They leave you stripped and naked. You didn't want it, you just wanted to feel needed. You get your dignity and pride taked away by someone who couldn't care less about how you feel. Why? Because you wanted to feel needed. By someone who broke your heart.

Oh...

This one has so much raw emotion which makes this piece so amazing. It made me take a big breath after I finished the last line. Good work. Keep writing...cause I want to see more of your work.
