Shallow Line

I have no kind of mercy
i have no kind of smile
in my my mind i have a controversey
it only lasts awhile.
i've got to find a answer
but i have no kind of clue
there's something that really hits me
those memories of me and you.
i feel the searing swelter
i can touch the fire the fire below
i can't find no shelter
how much more can i control?
rain that's underneath the clouds
like razors they slice the air
my emotions are ripped to shrouds
i feel a presence but it isn't there
perhaps it's the solitude
that i myself share
the tears in my heart
are showering everywhere.
the day i told her something
i spoke oh so blind
she was drowning in her sorrow
i told her a shallow line.
i said i had no reason
something said out of the blue
her eyes were searing and freezing
to late there was nothing left to do.
