So Hard To Find A Friend When You Have Been So Hurt

Are we friends?
Or are we not?
Some days you act like you care
some days you dont
I dont know what to say
each time i find a friend
it seems i get hurt
they tell me "you can trust me"
now the hardest part for me to try and do is
Trust someone
I have found two people
who I can trust
trust for a lifetime
but they seem so far away
when there really not
though this poem
may not make since to you
though it may to some
you are one of the luckest people on earth
if you can say you have at least one best friend
I can say I have two
I am a lucky person
they can keep you going
and sometimes even alive..
i am so confused
but somehow they make it all make since to me
Sometimes i wish it was just me and them my two best friends who lived on this earth..
maybe things would be better then?
i left all my best friends
didnt even get to say goodbye
and now im leaving
not knowing what to do
what to feel
or what to say
all i know is im glad i have my two best friends..
