As a grown-up hurt feelings when disappointed.
When a child is disappointed it makes them mistrust.
When you're a child you think everything is you fault.
You wonder what's wrong with you to cause disappointments.
When you promise a child something do it or they grow up not liking or believing you.
No one wants to be the cause of a childs mistrust.
Children would rather be told the truth. It's a must.
