After The Rain
Author: Nikki

vinebar

The Ground is soaked with the tears of the broken hearts
that bleed from wounds never healed.
As days pass by timed only by the clocks of eternity.
After the rain comes the promise of a better day,
The promise of a love that would never fade.
After the rain comes answers to questions only sought out when prayed.
These feeling only come after the rain.
and exasperating smiles,
enjoying and appreciating every breath that crosses my lips.

This poem is great! I don't kno what to say! Keep writing! I like the third line, and love the fourth following it. I love all of it! =)

Excellent, very "sensual" yet, strong.

Nikki,

Very good presentation, I read it three times. My favaorite line was the last line "Enjoying and appreciating every breath that crosses my lips."

That is killer, I mean, life giving line, taking nothing for granted, not even the pain.

Thanks,
MartinV
