I Simply Smile
Author: Nora

vinebar

When someone asks me, ďwhy the smile?Ē
This is my reply,
ďIím smiling because I have something money just canít buy!Ē
And when they ask me to explain, the answer I rejoin
is that, what I have is priceless, and is worth much more than coin!

That a treasure trove of jewels simply pales next to it.
How the seven wonders of the world just canít compare to this.
Should you multiply the riches of the treasures here on earth,
youíd still fall short of knowing what this thing is really worth.

What thing, they ask me, could it be, thatís made me smile so?
I simply tell them itís a gift that only God bestows.
You canít but it, you canít win it, you canít wish it into being.
Thatís why the measure of itís worth, out weighs everything!

Itís a gift that brings you comfort, when your suffering or hurt.
Itís a warm embrace, a smile, or perhaps a quiet word.
Itís a celebration in the moments life provides and rears.
The creator of the memories, of our laughter, love and tears.

Itís where love grows unconditionally, no matter what you do.
Itís the priceless gift of friendship
Iíve been blessed to share with you!
When someone asks me, ďwhy the smile?Ē
Thatís what I say to them.
That I simply smile, because Iím glad to have you as my friend!

All thirty-twos

I'm glad you find joy in everything you do; even if when there comes a time when a dark cloud follows us around, you find happiness anyhow by showing us in your beautiful post, "I Simply Smile".
