The sky is gray, but in my mind it's blue.
All because you love me the way that you do.
The world is such a beautiful place.
All because I caught your eye, say the smile on your face.
Friends say I shouldn't love you as much as I really do;
that there are other guys. But all I want is you.
It's like your eyes see through me,
my heart, my soul, you know all I can be.
I'll stand beside you until the very end.
You're not just a boy, nor just a peer, you're also my best friend.
