8 Floors Up
Author: Pamela O'Brien

A small city apartment
8 floors above the world
Moonlight peeks through the window
And illuminates a young girl

Her silhouette is gentle
Her shadow so defined
Moonlight peeking through the window
Brings her skin to life

So far from all the hustle
That is going on below
She can't fight the sensation
That she is not alone

And he watches as she stands
With her body so exposed
To moonlight peeking through the window
Causing every curve to softly glow

I am going back to the place where this happened, and the sensation of the moonlight watching me is still going strong.....
