vinebar

Like a tiny droplet
Merged with thousands
Go with the flow
And fall to a pool
Of my own tears

Like a lone tree
Stranded in isolation
Let my roots grow
And become solid
After many years

Like a butterfly
Anticipating freedom
Spread wings slow
And I'm exposed
To all my fears

Terrie.....

Wow, thanks Terrie, I am flattered at the use of the word exquisite towards my poems!
This one is obviously extremely methaphrical, but so far it is one of my favorite new ones.
Thanks again :o)
