Who knew that my compassion would be seen as disregard,
For someone I respect and see as an inspiration.
I guess a poet's words are such a treasure,
That I failed to see the betrayal in changing them.
So my words of advice to all those who still write
- is be careful when you write a sentence,
Because someday someone will put you in your place,
And remind you that too manipulate is a serious offense.

ummm?

Pamela, I really have no idea what you are trying to accomplish here. I don't mean to sound rude or anything, but I am really starting to get a bit frustrated.

I NEVER saw "Already Fallen" as disregard, I only clarified my stance on using my work. I figured you didn't think I would take offense or anything... why else would you ask me to read that poem on the one that it originated from?!?!

How was changing my words betrayal? I laid it all out perfectly in the first post to you. I said you should say "inspired by the poem... " or "derrived from the poem" or something like that... so people would know it wasn't entirely your own words. I NEVER said you betrayed me, I NEVER said I was pissed, and I NEVER recommended you leave the site.

I am really curious about this part, "- is be careful when you write a sentence, Because someday someone will put you in your place,"

You didn't write the sentences Pam. I don't see why anyone needs to worry about anything they write. I thought I was talking from a friend to a friend as a simple request to either ask for permission to use my work or to give proper credit on the poem's page. I didn't know it was going to turn into an attention grabbing facade.

I'm REALLY not trying to sound rude or anything, but you are posting messages that seem like they are intended to make me feel bad, I comment on them, and you never get back for clarification. Now I see more stuff that's supposed to make me feel bad for making a simple request of you (as I perceive it).

none of my business BUT

Pam all seizure wanted was you to ask before you use something consideration is what we all want. Don't leave just ask to use ideas I'm sure no body would say no. Your writing is good

Pam and Seizure

Feel I have to say something too, this has gone on long enough!!Pam I know you're hurt that Seizure has told you how he feels, but he obviously means you no ill. He is only pointing out how he feels about his work.
Putting it another way if someone had used your work in a way you didn't feel happy about wouldn't you say something? Seizure would not be a real person if he kept quiet about how he felt! As far as he's concerned it's said... he's not bearing grudges.
Now there's no one wants you to leave this site Pam, we enjoy your work and your comments. Please don't `cut off your nose to spite your face'. It's Xmas we should all try to forgive and forget.
