Wave Of Refreshment
Author: Pamela O'Brien
It's interesting how a few simple words,
Can inspire a person to put their soul on paper,
And yet in just as few simple words,
Your soul can be turned to vapour.
A comment made by someone left me with a wave of refreshment and enthusiasm,
However, the love that I gave left me with a tsunami of pessimism.
The sum of all my fears can be depicted in contradiction,
It's interesting because I defend myself against those who offer protection.

This poem hits the nail on the head for me. I always draw closer people that will hurt me,but drive away people that really care. Bad choices...

When I say - we all do. Thats why thers so much depression in the world. Those who want to offer happiness don't have it, and those who don't have it steal it from those who need it.
