It had all began like most fairytales, I was looking for a responsible, quiet type - as in comparison to the party animals I usually dated. Although I'm not sure what he was looking for, he found it in me. Perhaps he simply wanted someone who could love him unconditionally.

We were friends at first, although our family and friends thought we were secretly more. He made me laugh. We had interesting in depth conversations into all hours of the morning. He had this charisma - everybody that met him, liked him. And yet he was quiet and such a gentleman... one night on a camping trip we finally acted upon our attraction, not realizing the detrimental effects we would have upon one another in the long run. Let me just say that combining a hopeless romantic (me) with a heartless robot (him) can only result in heartache and disappointment.
