The Last Laugh
Author: Pamela O'Brien
I am not one of the geese forming a V in the sky,
I'm the one that never learned to fly.
While their wings stir a heavy beat,
I walk on land, with steady feet.
And then with the Storm coming from the North,
The majority will lose its course.
And I who stood alone for years,
Will watch them as they're shedding tears.

Isn't it true though? I find that I am lonesome a lot of the time, but I also find more happiness because I rely on myself instead of others. Thought you would like this one :O)
