Faded Pearl

Gazing into his eyes
Staring at me he begins to hypnotize
Whispering me words to keep my soul at ease
I stand upon the grounded
Grass in-between my toes
The wind brushes threw my brown hair
With his picture suppressed against my heart
I keep you prisoner from the day I wake
Till the day I die
My imagination will make you care.

While in reality
I live in a world that's broken
I lost your words that you spoken
Lock my heart away with a fence
Climbing into loneliness
As my soul begins to clench
Live in my paranoid self-prison
Escape while I stay in bedded in my mistakes
I lay here while the insanity takes over me
Another chain to hold remains in my self-prison
But I wont let go
I stay here as you walk by

In my place within my heart
I run away
Keep your voice in the dreams
Cry for you to remember me in my screams
I sit here alone
I lay here as your faded pearl

A Picture Lasts Longer

Holding on to his face, his picture, whatever you can find that best represents him, is just fabulous!! I like the part where you say you're barefoot, in the grass, grasping memories of him. Truly touching!!
