A Trip Around The World

If I could go anywhere and take three people with me, I would go back to the woods to a place known as the boyscout camp. The three people that I would take with me would be, my best old buddy Roy, my best young buddy Chan, and my best female buddy Lori.

I have spent a lot of time in this very beautiful spot in the woods. It is really nothing more than a small clearing in the middle of nowhere decorated by tall pines, large oaks that umbrella out to create shade, and a crystal clear creek flowing ever so peacefully by.

The reason I would take Roy is because, Roy is a bisabled Vietnam combat vet. He is more decorated than any other vet I have ever known. These days he spends his time building various things, drinkeng beer, and helping anyone, even if they don't really deserve the effort. I would like to be able to help take a load off his mind by taking him to a serene and quiet, not to mention, beautiful place; a place where the things that he has seen and experienced could leave him for just a little while.

The reason that I would like to take my little buddy Chan is because, Chan is only four years old, he is also Roy's grandson. Chan is not old enough to be spoiled totally by all the mess going on in the world today. He is also young and pure enough to appreciate the beauty and wholesome atmosphere of such a place. Some of my fondest memories come from growing up in such a natural environment.

The reason that I would like to take Lori is because, Lori is just as natural as the woods that would be all around her. There have been many summer days spent in very place by the two of us, there really is no other place in the where the two of us are as at home.

In closing, I have written about the most special place in the world to me. I have also mentioned three of the most special people in my life. I believe that all three people deserve such a beautiful place to, learn, and forget the world around them for a short time, and I can't see how the woods meeting three very beautiful people could not help but benefit also.
