Ghastly Terrors

This beast that lays inside me
cries and howls, the severe pain of torment,
once I had total control then I lost
now left with anger and pain that wont repent,
happened the day you pushed me out
now my cold soul just screams and shouts,

Longing for the pain and fear to retreat
so I can stop holding my breath,
hoping for a future that will not appear
pushing away the icy cold hand of death,
it is not time for this spirit to cross the threshold
not time for this lifeless blood enriched body to turn cold,

I have a destiny, a different path to follow
there is my one true love to find, I hope it's soon,
I stand in the darkness as the snow begins to fall
begging for the pain to heal as I stare to the moon,
finding that the horror will soon be deceased
I fall and with a sudden realisation I release the beast,

This existence is not over, it has only just begun
feeling the anguish of my soul, blackened by the sun!!
