Assassin Of Love

Listen to my heart breaking
hear my icy tears shatter,
feel my blood racing
notice my eyes get wetter,
when I look for you all around
cannot see you, or hear a sound,

never knowing why
frequently I arrive somewhere,
then I'm happy
with no reason to be there,
smiling before you tear my skin
and crush my heart within,

ripping my everything in pieces
who are you? who am I?,
and every second of my happiest times
why are you so determined to make me cry?,
knowing you I wish with a sigh
so I can hurt you and tell you goodbye.
