Just My Imagination

Just My imagination
breaking through the tears,
shame and total misfortune
causing all evil fears,
head rushing dizziness
a heart of complete emptiness,

losing my spirit and alone so cold
hearing the sounds of the sea,
water dashing back and forth
come and save me, set me free,
I see you standing below the moon
looking red eyed afraid and alone,

I run faster than I have ever done
feeling the sand beneath my feet,
put out my hand and still can't reach you
I know without you I am not complete,
once more you gone from my vision
I'm left with just my imagination.

I look to the stars shining above
and remember I still have love.

Painted sadness by the sea

what do I know of love in words so touching as this?

I like this

I have read the new poems submitted today by you. This one strikes me as having the hope it takes to survive and go forward with your life.

Though one love is gone there is still love in yoru heart to share when you find a new love.

Good writing..
