Dreams Of You

You appeared in my dreams tonight again,
Just like you've done so for the past few nights.
And in the morning when I wake up,
I feel so terribly lost and sad.

I don't want to dream of you,
Cause I always wake up in tears and confusion.
I thought I've long gotten over you,
But it seems that it's not true.

In my dreams you were oh so sweet,
And the emotions felt so real.
I dreamt you were gone and I searched non-stop,
Till I finally found you again.

I ran into your arms crying tears of relief,
And hugged you so very tight.
In my dreams you still loved me,
And you promised to never go away.

But when I woke up to find it was all a dream,
The tears just fell down my face.
Cause I want you back just like in the dream,
With you promising you'll never leave

CHARMAINE!!!

Wow, Charmaine, I can't believe how beautiful this poem was, I mean it was like heart breaking and beautiful at the same time. Man, you have a lot of talent and I can see it through your poetry. Its like art that we as poets come up with such beautiful visions of the obvious ya know. But anyway, that was totally awesome. Keep up the Writing, I'll keep reading!~Princess Moon
