From Day To Day

A lot of people today have it all wrong
God isn't judgmental he's loved you all along
Maybe this is far beyond human thought
But god is pure love something we have sought

Yet our human minds will never comprehend
What true love is, everlasting till the end
And what I'm about to say may seem a little odd
But everything you see is a part of our god
>From the sweet cold rain, to the warm dry sands
Every thing on this earth came from his loving hands

And to you God gave the sweetest gift there can be
The chance to live life, and I hope that you see.
That our gift back to him is what we do
>From day to day it's all up to you

Every night I hope you thank the lord above
For your chance to laugh cry and love
Of all the emotions we are so lucky to feel
Love is the one that seems so surreal

I'm not trying to say god approves of all we do
But you should know he could never hate you
You are his child, he loves you so dear
Tonight I hope it's your thanks he will hear

Though sadly it seems that the only time we creed
Are the times we feel we are in need
But when god gave you the gift of life
He made sure you could deal with any strife

And when you run into a problem you can't face
It's that day god will hold you in his embrace
But until then I hope you will pray
Even on your sunniest day

And remember that our gift to god is what we do
>From day to day it's all up to you
You are his child he holds you so dear
At night I hope it's your thanks he hears
