Juliet And Juliet

I like to watch you as you sleep,
In my arms...
When you put your hand in mine,
It makes me want to cry,
To pull you closer
When I can feel your body against mine,
Your warmth,
Your breath on my neck,
Your gentle caress,
I want to stay in your arms forever

Juliet and Juliet
But that's not how its meant to be.
Just like those star crossed lovers,
Disaster's our destiny,
Peoples eyes,
Judge us,
But I love you,
You are all that matters to me

When I look into your eyes,
I see where my happiness rests,
In your mind,
Do you think of me?
Do I disturb your sleep like you disturb mine,
Pictures of you in my head,
I can't stop thinking about you,
two doomed fools hand in hand.
Juliet and Juliet.

But that's not how its meant to be!
If only it was.
Then we could show our love without judgement,
Without hatred and ignorance
Lashing at our every move,
Without the jeers and stabbing cries of laughter
They don't understand us!
They don't realise,
The love I see in your eyes,
Every subtle movement
Of your body overwhelms me,
Every breath you take leaves me wanting you,
Wishing that we could love without regret,
The world has bared us with the shame,
Juliet and Juliet.

Let me fly you to a place beyond the stars,
Where love is love and no-one questions ours,
Where hearts are free to cry for others,
A place like that i've found? Not yet...
Because there is no place at all
for Juliet and Juliet.
