Lost

So.... What now?
I'm back,
and things are moving.

When I was gone,
things moved on,
um...
yeah..

But things have changed so much,
people have gotten together,
people have parted ways,
people have fought one another.

So,
what do I do now?

I feel like I'm from a black and white TV show,
suddenly thrown into a technicolor action-packed 2002 soap opera.

So...
Where's my cue?
I have no script.

I feel,
well,
lost...

I have noone to hold now,
things have changed,
those furthest from me are now close,
I feel so lost,
and those closest to me are now far.

What do I do?
Where do I go?

I'm better yes,
but I don't know where I go from here.

I need a futuristic vision,
to flash past my eyes,
so I know what to do,
how to be found,
how to get colored in this show.

I don't know where to go from here.

I can relate.

Years ago I wrote a narrative called NIGHTMARE that expressed a similar feeling of being out of place and lost. You'll find your way Sax. As long as you keep looking, and are not afraid to take the next step when it comes.
