Mommy I can't sleep,
mommy I can't sleep,
it's dark outside,
and there's no pretty stars.

Mommy's asleep...
Mommy?
Mom?
Mommy?
Mommy,
I can't sleep.

You ask me why,
and I tell you the truth,
I can't sleep,
the clowns will eat me.

Yes the clowns!
How can you not know about the CLOWNS?!
They always watch me at night,
when I do sleep I only have nightmares,
nightmares of white faces and red noses,
of lauphter and smiles,
but the lauphing isn't happy,
it's dark and scary,
there teeth are sharp and bloody.

They wanna eat me!

When I wake up,
I know they're all watching me.

All the clown dolls on the shelf of my room,
all they're doing is staring at me with there painted eyes,
flashing me with bright smiles.

They shouldn't be looking at me!
They were all staring at each other across the room!
This has to be a joke!
But I think I hear a clown lauphing and I scream.
I scream and run to mommy.

She says they can't hurt me!
I know she's lieing to me!
She says they're not evil,
they only make people smile and laugh,
she tells me to go to my room.

But instead I go to the living room,
I try to sleep,
I'm away from the clowns,
but I know they want to eat me.

In the morning I wake,
on the floor before me lays a clown doll,
it's painted eyes and bright smile aimed right at me.
It came to me in the night!
It wants to eat me!

I scream and pick up the doll,
and as if it burned me,
I three it acress the room,
shattering its porcelan head on the wall in a million peices.

It's dead!
It's dead!

Mommy rushed into the room,
wanted to see whats wrong,
why I screamed.

She saw the mess and sighed,
more of my "evil" clowns.
I tried to explain it wanted to eat me,
she wouldnt have it and told me to go to my room.

When I got in there,
the dolls were looking at each other again,
all but one...
And it was staring at me,
I didn't want to be there,
but I had to be.

Mommy said I'm going to the doctor tomorrow,
she said the "clown stuff" worries her,
she thinks I'm sick maybe.

But in the night,
I managed to sleep,
there were no clowns,
but tableware and feasting.
Forks and knives and teacups,
platters and chairs and clowns...

CLOWNS!!!

I'm on the platter!
Oh God!
They're going to eat me!
I knew they would!

I couldn't move!
They're cutting me to pieces!
Cutting the Turkey is what they sceam and laugh!

They're putting hunks of me on there plate,
then they start there feast!

This hurts so much!
I told my mommy they'd eat me!
She wouldnt listen!
Now they're eating me!

I couldn't sleep,
cause I knew the clowns would eat me!
The clowns would eat me!

The next morning,
Mommy couldn't find me,
days and days they looked,
I was later declared dead.

Mommy cried and cried,
then cried more,
then she saw the missing clowns,
they were all gone.
Then she began to wounder about the clowns,
the clowns that ate me in my sleep.
