The Final Point Of It

Now matter what I can do,
I'll end up loseing everything,
all that's dear to me.

I could try to enjoy the time I have,
the time I have with you,
the time I have with my freinds,
but if I did that,
and the time finaly came,
I'd lose you all,
and all I'd feel is pain.

I wish there was more to me than you,
I wish you werent the only reason I'm alive,
it's more of a burden that I ever intended to put on you,
part of me hates myself,
angry that I turne you into my only crutch,
another part is afraid,
afraid that one day I'll wake up and you'll never be there,
you'd have left me and moved on,
leaving me alone and noone to fully turn to.

----------------

I'm doing the best I can nowadays,
to not invest my emotions into people,
it's no longer worth it,
I'm gona end up dead anyway.

One time I thought you'd be all I need,
that you'd make everything ok,
help me fix myself,
but thats such a lie,
I cant help but laugh.
In the end thing's have only continued to collapse,
trying to make up for lost time.

I should just shut off the lights,
let the roar of fighting in my mind echo into silence,
fall back into an empty and gloomy room and be alone,
totaly and utterly alone.

Cause in the en...
I'll be alone anyway...

So there isnt much point in investing my emotions in anyone,
I'll just lose you all in the end...

No matter how much time you have,
you will always lose what's dearest to you

I can relate to this so well.

I think this is my favorite of all of your poems I've read. I can realy relate to this. I agree that it is a waste of time to invest all your time and energy to people cuz that just makes it hurt more for you and everyone else in the end. Keep on writing.
