Last Goodbye

It seems that this is the last time I will talk to you my friend,
I wish I had more words to say how I feld about this.

I think you were the best thing for me back then,
If I could I'd do alot of it all again,
then I'd go and change things to keep this from happening.

We knew each other so well,
we could tell when the other was sad,
we could guess at how they would react,
we each other so well...

Goodbye my dear friend,
I wish I had the tears to shed for this,
but I have none,
I've spent them on the things that have drove us apart in the first place.

So many thoughts to say to you,
so many ways I could put for wishing you the best,
but it may just seem like I'm pre-recording them,
not really giving them meaning or zest.

So here it is my woefully distant friend,
this is the last goodbye,
the end of the line.

In a way it feels like it's the end of the world,
like the villan has won in this story.

But for what it's worth,
I hope to one day make amends for my errors...

I guess this is goodbye...
