Everyone hates everyone,
'tis a hateful world,
bullet-ridden with problems,
we need a hero to save us,
someone to make this all go away.

Can I hear heaven up here?
I think I can,
yes,
I know I can,
it sounds so good,
so grand...

Yet sadly,
heaven can't hear me,
how can that be?

Look what love has give me,
nothing,
nothing but pain and suffering.

Everyone hates everyone,
'tis a hateful world,
bullet-ridden with problems,
we need a hero to save us,
someone to make this all go away.

Can you hear me up there?
No, no you can't,
not like you would do anything anyway...

Last time we killed your son,
I don't think we deserve your help a second time.

I'll watch all the Angels fly away from me,
there feathers of hope falling to the soiled earth,
there they lose there meaning,
here they gain a new purpose,
all they mean is the lost and fallen hope,
a hope we no longer have.

Someone told me once,
they're here for me,
they wished they could help,
things will get better one day.

Seems that now I've screwed up,
that person seems so distant now,
as distant as the sky high above me...

I wish I could tell her that I was sorry,
I hope I can make amends,
I dont want us to part ways,
these may be just words,
but these words mean something
when you put true feeling to it when I say

Catie... I'm sorry.
