Torn

Ash to Ash,
Dust to Dust,
cast off the veil,
time to stand revealed.

Dont go looking at the sun on this world,
you wont go blind,
but it will suck you dry.

A sea of emotion,
dark clouds ahead,
we're in for a rouph ride,
it's time for a battle of wills.

Strike the lightning upon these dark and charred walls,
"lets dance now" it constantly booms,
like dancing with the Reaper himself,
a moshpit with my closest friends.

A single priestess upon my Spire,
wielding arcane magics to barely keep the storm at bay,
she knows this tyrant all too well and the effect it has had on her.

Wicked Skys,
black is day,
dark as night...

There is no sun shining through the sky,
twisting the landscape of my world to how it sees fit.

Alone I stand,
torn I am,
do I lose several of my freinds to this storm?
Take refuge with this priestess?
Or do I leap to the sky?
Letting the winds take me,
losing the priestess but staying with my friends until the bitter end.

Here I stand at the edge of the bridge,
below me is the abyss of the storm,
my friends await me there.
Beside me the priestess,
urging me not to fall...
I stand here at the edge of the bridge,
I stand here torn between the ones I love...

This decision is mine alone...
